To make ur start button work faster, follow the steps -

1 start->run->type regedit.
2.double click on hkey_current_user
3.open the control panel box
4 click on desktop folder
5.find menushowdelay and instead of 400 type 0 or any value lower than 400.
6. press ok
7 restart the computer

you will see that the start menu has started working faster !!!
